Hot off the press is the September 2019 issue of Fancy Fowl magazine and the feature article is
'At Home with Jamie Robinson' - a five page insight into how Jamie's Sebrights have achieved wins at the countries' top shows. Written by Grant Brereton, with photos by Jamie, Josh Kittle and Rupert Stephenson - definitely worth a read!

The March 2016 issue of Practical Poultry Magazine features a buying guide to the Sebright. Graced with a beautiful Silver Sebright on the cover, you can't miss it! Written by Editor, Chris Graham and including an 'Owner's View' by our Secretary, Jamie Robinson.
'How to win a National Show' (Dec 2014/Feb 2015/April 2015)
Another excellent article has been featured in The Fancy Fowl magazine, written by Robin Creighton, our Chairman. Part One (December 2014, Vol. 34, Issue 3) dealt with Choosing a Breed. In Part Two (February 2015, Vol. 34, Issue 5) Robin deals with acquiring the breeding birds and in Part Three (April 2015, Vol.34, Issue 7) he tackles 'Starting the Breeding Programme'. We are indeed extremely fortunate in the fact that not only does Robin have infinite knowledge and experience in the field, but also breeds fantastic Silver Sebrights - which showcase throughout the articles! It is a fascinating insight into the time that Robin spends with his birds and the dedication it takes to produce a National Show Champion. A really good read for everyone interested in Sebrights.

We received the following email in 2012 from Trish Colton about her new book to be published at the end of the year. Trish kindly sent us a preview chapter - and it was very amusing. Really worthwhile contacting Trish to have a read! -
“Mucky Cluckers – Tales from the hen run” is a humorous look at chicken keeping and what they don’t tell you in the “How to” books. From the hen who hates laying eggs, to the cockerel who would like to, this is a hen run full of quirky personalities - including my silver Sebright, Queen B.
I am writing to ask if you would be kind enough to let your club members know that they can get a chapter absolutely free.
All they have to do is either:
• Email me at [email protected]
• Write to me: Trish Colton, 2 The Square, Birstwith, North Yorkshire HG3 2NL (enclose an s.a.e. please)
• Phone me: 01423 772742 (leave a message with name & address if I’m out)
The “Mucky Cluckers” paperback will be published later this year, but there’s absolutely no obligation to buy the book just because you’ve had a free chapter.
“What a fantastic read! Made me laugh out loud in some parts.”
Thank you for your help.
Best wishes
Trish Colton
