Today we are having some men from Scottish and Southern Energy to prune our hedgerow in Lois' field that runs under some Important Electricity Wires. They visited Dad last evening and he stressed that it was to be pruning only as they visited about twenty years ago and cut our beautiful trees and bushes back to stumps. About five years ago they came again and pruned the tops of the recovered trees very nicely and Dad said that would be fine to do the pruning again. Mum was sceptical and took a photo of the Ash tree by the little gate this morning. Lois will enjoy the activity! Gordon x
